UMF residual soils. PHOTO. Recovered basal cut of cordwood, later determined to be MacNab cypress. This is dated at ca. 147 yrs. The first specimen was dated at 166 yrs. The oldest date indicates that cypress were growing here in 1847. The entire area was clear-cut this date.
