Plants growing on barren playa with Agropyron cristatum, Artemisa tridentata ssp. wyomingensis, Bromus tectorum, Chondrilla juncea, Elymus elymoides, Halogeton glomeratus, Lactuca serriola, Lepidium perfoliatum Poa secunda, Pseudoroegneria spicata, Salsola tragus, and Sisymbrium altissimum A short perennial, 4-8 cm tall, composed of numerous pubescent stems growing from a branched caudex. Leaves are glabrous, simple, sessile, and narrowly spatulate. Leaves are 1.2.5 cm in length and green in color but often appear grey due to adhering clay dust. Inflorescence are subcorymbose with white flowers composed of 4 petals. Fruits are flattened siliques that are slightly nothced at the apex.
