Recently installed landscaping, planted with Berberis aquifolium, Fragaria ananassa, and Ajuga reptans; with abundant weeds including Cerastium glomeratum, Euphorbia peplus, and Poa annua; full sun; rich moist soil. Petals white, 5 x 1.5-2 mm; stamens 6; siliques slender, ascending at ca 20-45 degree angle to rachis; taprooted annual, lacking a central stem, with numerous prostrate to ascending, basal branches, these again much-branched, forming dense tangled mounds; basal leaves absent; very abundant weed in landscaping over an area of several acres.
