(1.9 mi. from Hwy 36), go W on N Canyon Rd. past Mill Hollow Rd. At 4.7 mi. from Hwy 36 turn N at Meadow Creek (FR 425). At intersection of FR 425 (Eightmile Creek Rd.) and Skinner Canyon Rd. (FR 403) follow Skinner Canyon Rd. ca. 1.8 mi. to pass on Sherman Peak ridge. Site SP#5. Elev. 2730 m.

Open subalpine meadow with mixed forbs, including: lupine, Rudbeckia, Potentilla gracillus, Carex hoodii. Cauline leaves sessile, auriculate and overlapping, with dendritic hairs. Fruits secund. Siliques pubescent, with some branched, stellate hairs. Phenology: Fruits.
