Basaltic silt loam, 10% slope, 200° aspect. restricted to a 40 foot long and 20 foot wide area in a moist bowl-shaped spot in an ephemeral stream. The area surrounding this area is covered with a sparse cover of Agropyron spicatum and Lomatium dissectum. 450 individuals restricted to a 40 foot long and 20 foot wide area. Racemes 2 dm to 5.5 dm long. Bulbs solitary to four in a clump. Blub extremely mucilaginous. On the 1981 Federal Watchlist. Phenology: Fruits.
