Somewhat disturbed. though infrequently-used road margins and adjacent sagebrush scrub on hillsides near edge of Douglas-fir forest on E-facing slope. Growing primarily in disturbed soil in infrequently-used 4x4 track ascending to hilltop. Common perennial herbs from short, thick taproots. Plants glabrous, medium-green. Flowers bright yellow. Silica gel-dried material is available upon request. Phenology: Flowers.
