On steep ridge overlooking road from north. SE-facing steep, sandy slopes above canyon. On eroding sandy hillside above road. Plants either dominant ground cover or interspersed with Purshia tridentata scrub. Common robus perennial herbs from large taproots. Plants forming mounds of gray-green foliage, becoming cinereous with age. Silica gel-dried material is available upon request. Phenology: Fruits.
