Very abundant; husks in piles around logs where some rodent has been feeding on the slightly immature fruits. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits. Type: Lomatium bicolor (S. Wats.) Coult. & Rose var. leptocarpum (Torr. & Gray) Schlessman. Published 1982. Madroño 29: 119. 1982.
