Shaded alluvial soil under Populus trichocarpa, in leaf litter, with Equisetum arvense, Symphoricarpos albus, Heracleum maximum. 8 clumps; appears to be persisting from old plantings though no sign of habitation on uninhabited island, though Forsythia and snowdrops grew nearby.
