Idaho: Adams County: Emery Creek RNA. Council Ranger district. From Council to Council-Cuprum Rd to Ditch Creek Rd to end of road at trailhead 252. Population is on the east side of the RNA on the west side of the ridge near outcrops. Payette National Forest. Elev. 5320 ft.

Population is on the east side of the RNA on the west side of the ridge near outcrops. Habitat: Rocky bare hillside; no overstory, few forbs. Soils were red volcanic, steep and very unstable. Area adjacent to Agropyron spicatum/Poa secunda veg type. Associated species: Penstemon deustus, Balsamorhiza sagittata, and Festuca idahoensis. Characters: Large bulb, sometimes multiples. Pink and green flowers and pink stems. Curved leaves and low to the ground. Phenology: Flowers.
